Isuzu Repair: isuzu will not start, snap ring, fuel tank

I replace the fuel pump and filter on my 1997 rodeo 3'2. it turns over but will not start.

You probably did not seal the fuel pump O-ring well enough. Did it have a big snap ring or otherwise? You have to seat the o-ring just right or it will pop out off the ring on the tank and cause hard starts. You will most likely have to drop the fuel tank and make sure it seals very well. Can you smell gas at all??
