Subaru Repair: Low Fuel Light, subaru impreza, fuel light

Hello Frank,
I 've just bought my 05 Subaru Impreza for approx. 3 weeks ago.  I have driven it until the needle reached close to "E" Empty and the Low Fuel Light indicator never came on.  So far, From Full to E the milage accumulation is 450 Km.  When will the Low Fuel Light come on?  I have own other vehicle such as Honda and Mazda and the Low Fuel Light comes on when the indicator reaching close to "E".  My 05 Subaru Low Fuel Light has yet to come on so I am a bit worry if something could be wrong with it.

I really appreciate your help on this.

I have a '06 impreza, and the light comes on when it should, you can't always count on the fuel gauge itself. Just for your own sake, put a gas can in car with a couple of gallons and see if the light does come on, and then how much fuel after that. There should be aprox 1.5 gallons left when the light comes on.
