Isuzu Repair: Immobilizer code, obdii scanner, opel gm

Question
QUESTION: I only have one key for my 1999 3.0 TD Isuzu Trooper. The local GM dealer here in Larvik, Norway cannot find the immobilizer code so that I can program a new key. What to do?

ANSWER: So basically you are stuck with getting a new ignition switch huh? My only advice is to try and reset the computer professionally with an OBDII scanner. Or get a new Ignition switch. I will do some research on the internet and try to find out some information but to tell you the truth; You might have to call Isuzu and give them your vehicle information such as vin# and other required information they need. They should not charge you more than $30.00 american dollars for it. If you are still confused please let me know and I will do whatever I can to help you get your car back on the road.

Answer
Yes and I did some research lastnight and to my surprise this has even baffled The AAA!! This is a grpwing problem with the 3.0 type engine that runs of of Diesiel if I am not mistaken? They recommended that it could be bad weld in the P.C.M or a bad P.C.M. altogether. I will continue to look for you and try to get you an answer okay?
