Isuzu Repair: 2000 Isuzu Rodeo, isuzu rodeo, old fashion way

QUESTION: Hi Daniel- I have a 2000 Rodeo and I'm having a problem locking the doors with the keyless remote and inside with the door lock/unlock button. I have replaced the battery in the remote and checked the fuses. Is there anything else I can check or replace to get this working again?

ANSWER: Well Cindy. These models have had horrible problems in this area. Does the doors unlock and lock individually with no problem or do they not work all together? Also does your keyless remote work sometimes but not all the time?

QUESTION: No they do not lock individually, I have to do it the old fashion way which I'm used to anyways, this is the first vehicle I have had with keyless remote. The keyless remote will sound the car alarm but not lock and unlock the SUV. Thanks again!!!

Oh well then the only thing I could think of is the child lock is activated or that you need your remote reprogrammed. You can go to basically any import dealership and they will diagnose and reprogram your system for very little money. Also I will look around the internet and try to find you some answers as well okay? You shoukd be able to nominate me in the question pool. Have a great day Cindy!
