Isuzu Repair: IAT CKT High Input, 2000 rodeo, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

QUESTION: I would like to know how do I fix a fault code P0113 IAT CKT High Input. My vehicle failed emmissions test due to this. Where is the intake air sensor and can I replace it?

ANSWER: Hello Eric. Your Air Intake Temperature Sensor is located on your air intake duct leading to your throttle body. It is a two wire hook-up that clips onto the duct. It is fairly simple to replace and I would replace it.

QUESTION: Is that actually called the mass air flow sensor? If not then I cannot locate one on the web.Please help.

No Eric. Your Mass Air flow sensor is by your air filter. IT is the square connection and it is not small so it's hard to miss. If this is a fault code, I would try cleaning out your throttle body first before buying a mass air flow sensor because they run about 140.00 dollars. Autozone checks and clears fault codes for free tho if you would like to try this as well.
