Isuzu Repair: Starts better when colder outside, air control valve, mixture control

Question
My 95 Trooper is a bit hard to start. I need to pump the gas a couple of times and hold the peddle about 3/4 way down to get it to start. Then it starts revving highly due to all this gas. I did notice when it got colder out, at about 45 degrees it started up easily with no problem.

Do you know what could be causing this? It sounds like it is a mixture issue, or could it be a choke due to it starting better in moderately colder weather? I am not even sure if this car has a carb or is fuel injected.

Answer
Hello Ron. Well like you said, it could be a number of things. I would need to know if it is fuel injected or not. On some models it could be your Idle air Control Valve. Or your Mixture Control Valve, Throttle Body. Heat Riser valve. Or it could be something as mundane as a fuel filter! I do need more information tho please.
