Isuzu Repair: 2001 isuzu engine, coolant leaks, isuzu engine

I'm looking at a 2001 isuzu rodero (5 spd) that the owner states that the radiator heats up on long drives, and the engine cuts out.  any suggestions on what it could be and what it might take to correct(parts and $$$).

It could be a bad engine harness ground. Or a intake gasket/vacuum leak. Also check the fuel filter and fuel pump fuel sending unit that hooks up to the fuel pump solenoid as well. The radiator sounds like it is just restricted. Check to see if there is ANY coolant leaks or smells.
