Isuzu Repair: 2000 Trooper Transmission Problem, inhibitor switch, transmission shop

Question
I replaced my EGR value and within a few days started having transmission problems. Took it in and had it flushed and had a solenoid replaced. I still have problem with it slipping but it doesn't do the same thing every time. I have taken it in and had the transmission shop test drive it and it didn't mess up on them. It is still messing up on me randomly do you have any advice.

Answer
Well Isuzu's are known for their crappy engines and transmissions. I would suggest a low voltage issue. Dealing with the inhibitor switch and or a bad transmisson. I had the same exact problem. I took it to a highly reputable mechanic. told him to flush it twice. replace the filter and seals. and it never did it again. The EGR valve however goes bad on ISUZU"s ALL THE TIME!! Although the messing up is probably the transmission telling you" Hey, I'm gonna leave you stranded somewhere someday so have me fixed or dive me off the edge of a cliff!!" I would recommend selling the vehicle cause it is only downhill from here man.
