Jaguar Repair: 85 xj6 jaguar get fire at both switch valvs at same time, car start and run, solenoid valves

QUESTION: hi i jave a 85 xj6 fuel problem with my switch valvs in wheel opning. when i switch tanks both sides sides have fire at same time what i/am saying when i switch to RT SIDE/LI SIDE IS HOT ALSO. BOTH SIDES ACT AS 1 FUEL RETURN TO BOTH TANKS AT SAME TIME//

ANSWER: You do not have a problem with your fuel solenoid valves, that is the way they work. Please buy a manual. The fuel thank change/over switch operate three fuel valves, all at the same time. Please tell me what problem you are having with your car, it is not the fuel solenoid valves.

QUESTION: the problem is i have fuel returning to both kanks at same time no matter whitch tank i select have check changeover valve three of them thay are good.

ANSWER: Okay, I understand. Do your car start and run? Are you having problems Starting? What is the car doing? Lets for the moment do not worry about the valves and fuel returning to both tanks. Lets start from the beginning has what started you trouble shooting your car. Sammie

Also please order a manual, it has all the diagrams that you will need. I can not sent you a wiring diagram. Sam
