Jaguar Repair: fuel shut off valve, fuel line, cold start

hi mr howard the fuel shot off valve on 85 xj6 located in wheel opening in fuel line after u// remove rear tire. it supose to keep gas from returning back to fuel tank when ign is turn off ///what controle the fire going to that fuel shotoff switch./// my car is hard to start in the morning no fuel in fuel line.

If that is your problem, the valves should be energized when the ignition switch is turned on. Turn the ignition switch on and see if there is voltage to the valves. Also check the fuel pump, pressure regulator, cold start valve and relay and check for leaks in the fuel line. I have never had any problems with the fuel shut off valves. Sam
