i have a 1981 xj6 with chevy 350 and the gauges work intermittenly how do i fix them?

Hi Bob,
That depends on what is wrong. You first need a wiring diagram of the instruments to trace down any faults. However, you must do the tracing when the gauges are in a failed made. If you don't have a good diagram let me know and I will put one up on my web site for you to copy.
