Jaguar Repair: windows, rear seat, hoses

why is my center console on my 1985 xj6 getting hot when I have the windows down or cracked open. Thanks again

Hi Isaac,
I don't have a clue why it is getting hot. You might remove the armrest lid and box tray out and check to see if it is the hoses going back to the rear seat vents and maybe the blend doors of your AC/heater are not working correctly and it is sending hot air to the rear vents.
