Jeep Repair: Power Steering Repair, power steering pump, drive belts

Question
QUESTION: Hey, How's it going?
I need to replace the power steering pump on a 2001 Grand Cherokee. I'm not sure where it is located or how to do it. Just wondering if you could give me some insight on the subject. I have a good amount of experience working on cars, but have never had to do one of these. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks for your time,
Ryan

QUESTION: it is a 4.7 V8. I was told that's what it was. It is almost impossible to turn the wheel when the car is sitting still. Since it is so hard to turn the wheel, I agreed with the diagnoses. Is there anything else that could cause the problem?

Answer
na that sounds about right.

REMOVAL - 4.7L ENGINE

Remove the pressure and return hoses from pump and drain pump.
