Jeep Repair: 06 Jeep Wrangler driver seat, jeep wrangler, jeep owner

Question
QUESTION: I am a first time Jeep owner. I let another person drive my jeep who is longer legged than I am.  They move the seat back.  Now I am unable to move the seat forward.  I depress the bar in front of the seat, wiggle to make the seat go forward, and nothing.   I am now driving with big pillows to push myself closer to the gas pedal.  What do I do?

ANSWER: do the same thing have some one behind U to push the seat

QUESTION: I need to know how to repair this problem.  I am 50 years.  I live alone.  There is no one here that can get behind the seat every time I need to move it forward.  How can I repair this problem?

ANSWER: I dont think there is a prob  I think u just need more muscle behind u to push it forward   if it went back  it will go forward.

QUESTION: I am sorry, perhaps you are not comprehending this problem.   This driver's seat used to move very easily, from any position, now it is not moving at all.  This is not a "more muscle" problem, the thing simply will NOT move at all.   I got behind the seat earlier today after your last note, and pushed, nothing, used both feet on the back of the seat, had a neighbor kid (14) in the drivers seat depressing the lever to make the seat move forward, nothing.

Are you saying that everything in this Jeep that fails simply needs "more muscle?"  I may be older, but not stupid.  Applying "more muscle" to something that is not working is not a solution, unless you are trying to get people to break the seats, thus requiring a trip to the dealer?

If you dont know how the seat works, then just tell me that, OK?  Then I can try to find someone else that knows something about the mechanics of a driver's seat in a TJ.

Answer
here is your whole issue
"I let another person drive my jeep who is longer legged than I am.  They move the seat back.  Now I am unable to move the seat forward."
if it worked b4 it will work now
I am sorry  if U cant get the seat forward  I dont think there is an issue with it just that u yourself and 14 year old boy cant get it back forward   why don't u let the taller person get back in it and move it forward.  I know how it works  that's not the issue at hand.
