Jeep Repair: 1998 5.9L Limited Grand Cherokee, passive restraint systems, airbag deployment

Question
My instrument guage cluster has some of it's bulbs burned out, only a few
appear to backlight the whole cluster (some areas of the cluster are bright
and some are out). What bulb size is used?, and how can I go about
replacing them myself?

Answer
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
WARNING: ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS, Refer to PASSIVE RESTRAINT SYSTEMS BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY STEERING WHEEL, STEERING COLUMN, OR INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE. FAILURE TO TAKE THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS COULD RESULT IN ACCIDENTAL AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.

Remove the cluster bezel from the instrument panel. See Cluster Bezel in this group for the procedures.
Remove the two screws that secure each end of the instrument cluster to the instrument panel.
Pull the instrument cluster rearward to disengage the self-docking wire harness connector
NOTE: The instrument cluster has a self-docking wire harness connector that will be automatically aligned with, and connected to the instrument panel wire harness when the cluster is installed in the instrument panel.

Remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle.
Reverse the removal procedures to install. Tighten the mounting screws to 2.2 N·m (20 in. lbs.)
