QuestionQUESTION: I just got my Catalytic Converter stolen... I was wondering if I really need to have one installed? And if not, is there something that I need to install for my Oxygen sensor to still work properly? I have a 3+ inch lift and it is really easy to crawl underneath. I just don't want this happening again.
ANSWER: if u live in a place where u have state inspection u will need the converter what are u asking about eh 02 sensors for?

QUESTION: Whats connected to my converter??? Who ever took it, cut some wires and I just thought that it was for the 02 sensor. I live in Texas and we do not have an emisssions check.

QUESTION: So again... Do I really neeed a catalytic converter? Do I really need the 02 sensor? Can I have an after market exhaust without the 02 sensor? Is there a way to bypass my 02 sensor and so it does not affect my MCU?
Answerthe converter is for the federal emissions related stuff on your jeep if u dont want one that is up to u U might get a check engine light from it I dont know I have not run into a situation to where I had a choice to have one or not. No u can not bypass an o2 sensor.
