WHEN I RUN THE HEATER AND SOMETIMES THE AC IT SMELLS LIKE ANTIFREEZE, I WAS TOLD THAT MY AC EVAPORATOR CORE IS GOING BAD, WHAT HAPPENS IS WHEN I RUN THE HEATER I GET A BAD ANTIFREEZE SMELL FROM IT, SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT I HAVE MOLD IN THE AC EVAPORATOR AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, IF TRUE WHAT IS THE ESTIMATED COST AND WHAT IS INVOLVED IN DOING SO?

If your smelling antifreeze your heater core is leaking antifreeze inside your heater box.  If you smell something just when your ac is on you probably have mold in the ac side of the heater box.  To get rid of the mold get some BG Refrigifresh and cut the ac on and spray the can into the cowl where the wiper are.  This will be sucked into the heater box and eliminate the mold.  Hope I could help you!
