Jeep Repair: 2003 Wrangler ac fan swithch, blower motor resistor, harness connector

QUESTION: my fan switch for the a/c heat only works in the high position - position 1,2,3 there is no fan - is it the swithch on the dash? how do I fix it?

ANSWER: blower motor resistor is what U need.

Remove the glove box from the instrument panel (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/GLOVE BOX - REMOVAL).
Pull out the lock on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector to unlock the connector latch (Blower Motor Resistor Block- Typical).
Depress the latch on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector and disconnect the connector from the resistor.
Remove the two screws that secure the blower motor resistor block to the HVAC housing.
Remove the resistor block from the HVAC housing
