Jeep Repair: 2002 Jeep Grande Cherokee Overland Heater Problem., auto temp, blower motor

Hey Kevin, my 2002 Cherokee heater slowly stopped working over a 3 week period and it hasn't worked for the last 2 weeks now. The heater seems to have a mind of its own, coming on/off periodically. Also, the passenger side blows cold air. I already replaced the heater control unit, but it didn't solve the problem. The dealership says its an actuator problem.  Any ideas of whats wrong with my Jeep? Thanks.

the only heat coming out of one side if u have auto temp control  U have a broken blend air door and dash will need to come out for that one.  the on and off  talking about the blower motor??   if so  I bet u have a melted connector  and burnt up resistor.
