Jeep Repair: 1996 jeep cherokee, motor shaft, jeep cherokee

Question
How do I locate the motor blower. I understand that it is under the dashboard passenger side but how do I get to it?

Answer
BLOWER MOTOR
2.5L ENGINE
Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Disconnect the blower motor wiring Blower Motor Connector
Remove the blower motor mounting bolts Blower Motor Remove/Install
Remove the blower motor and fan assembly.
Remove the blower motor fan from the motor shaft for access to the motor attaching nuts Blower Fan
Reverse the removal procedures to install
NOTE: The ears, A and B, of the retainer clip must be over the flat surface on the motor shaft Blower Fan

4.0L ENGINE
Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Remove the washer fluid reservoir. Refer to Wiper and Washer Systems for the procedures.
Disconnect the blower motor wiring Blower Motor Connector
Remove the blower motor mounting bolts Blower Motor Remove/Install
Remove the blower motor and fan assembly.
Remove the blower motor fan from the motor shaft for access to the motor attaching nuts Blower Fan
Reverse the removal procedures to install
NOTE: The ears, A and B, of the retainer clip must be over the flat surface on the motor shaft Blower Fan
