Jeep Repair: electronic key, jeep grand cherokee laredo, jeep grand cherokee

I have a 04 jeep grand Cherokee laredo.i was just wondering if there was any way to disable the electronic key senor so i do not have to use the factor key and can make some others without going to the dealer and spending a 50+ on a key with a special chip inside. i live in the country and i do not worry about someone stealing my jeep. but at the same time if i move or sale the vehicle i would like to be able to turn it back on or enable it again without too much trouble.
While i am here i just thought of another question. how good are the remote starts on jeeps are there any brands that are better than others or are they all the same? do they have any harmful effects on the vehicle? and how easy are they to install? what about a jeep like mine is it hard to install one with a key sencor?

u can not disable or remove the skim key system  with out paying like 1000 bucks   U will need to replace the PCM and a few other computers in order to get it all out and have it not to have the skim system.
as for the remote start  I don't know  unless there is a factory add on one.
