Nissan Repair: change front brake roter, nissan altma, spindle assembly

Question
how do you get a front break roter off a 2005 Nissan Altma

Answer
Robert,

A Haynes manual would be an excellent idea.  But, to start with you need to jack the car up and support it with jack stands.  Then remove the wheels.  Then the caliper by removing the two bolts that hold them on.  Use a coat hanger to wire them to the strut spring as not to let them dangle by the brake hose.  Then, remove the two bolts that hold the torque beam on the spindle assembly.  Now, you can simply remove the rotor.  Both sides are the same and you reverse the process to install new ones.  Make sure to purchase some brake cleaner to get the protective coating off the new rotors.
