Jeep Repair: wet carpet, jeep grand cherokee, cherokee ltd

Question
I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD  that continues to soak the carpet on the passengers side in front. It is draining from below the vehicle, but the carpet still gets wet.I know there's a drain in the frame, so the water has to be coming from somewhere else. Could it be just plain condensation? If that's the case, how might I go about fixing it. Thank you.

Answer
If it is just clear water, then it is condensation. What may be happening is that the drain is partially plugged. That is why you are seeing some water outside but are still getting some inside. Verify that it is plain water and not coolant. If it is coolant than your heater core is going bad. There is a drain on the firewall near the passenger's side. It is small and black. Try and clear it out with something small and soft. Maybe a q-tip or a wooden pencil.
