Jeep Repair: Redlines when starts, vacuum leak, exhaust manifold

Question
I just replaced the exhaust manifold in my 95 wrangler 4cyl, and after putting everything back together I started it up and it imediatley redlined and I had to cut the engine off befor it got any higher and blew the engine. I tried disconnecting the battery for a couple hours to reset the computer and that did nothing and I checked all the vacuume lines and everything seemed to be where they should. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Answer
You have a vacuum leak around the intake manifold where it bolts to the head.  If it isnt that check to make sure the throttle is not hung open.  I may be worth taking the intake back off and checking the gasket to make sure it didnt get damaged while putting on the set up, it is easily done.  Hope I could help you!
