Jeep Repair: 98 Cherokee w/ squeaky steering column, jeep steering column, noticeable problem

Question
The steering column has an annoying squeak that is worst on cold mornings and when first running.  No noticeable problem with steering and it goes away pretty quickly.  An easy fix?  Thank you!

I am not sure without checking the vehicle out myself.  But if I had to guess, if its in the column itself, its probably a bearing in the column.  I Have never worked on a jeep steering column, so i wouldn't know how hard the fix would be.  Hope I could help you!
