Land Rover Repair: 2001 Discovery- Condensation in floorboards, drain tubes, drain lines

Question
Mr.McInnis,
I just purchased my first LR Discovery II. My wife and I love it so far. It has 90k on original motor. We live in Oklahoma and the a/c is on constantly. The floorboards are getting wet. I found both drain tubes and cleared them and it still happened. I pulled both drain nipples completely off and it is still doing it. The carpet is getting wet all the way back to the passenger back seat. No rain in weeks and I left the windows down and  mats out for 3 days and wet vacced the carpets while it sat not being driven. Carpets were completely dry. 2 days of driving and not as wet as they used to be but still getting wet. Any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Kevin,

it sounds like the lines are still plugged up.  Leave the drain nipples off.

Did you check the drain lines from within the cabin? Perhaps there's a kink somewhere.  You'll have to pull up the carpets and trace the lines on both side of Disco.  Will give you a chance to see condition of carpets & floor.

Best of luck,
