Land Rover Repair: starting problem, seat base, location check

Question
I have a 1994 D-90, the engine will crank, new batty, but it will not start. Fuel pump is running, manual says check fuel inertia but I cannot find it in the usual location behind the air filter housing where it normally is. Does it have another spot for this? I don't have a book for 1994, I have a book for a 1997 and it is different. It was running until I pressure washed the undercarriage then it wont start again. Can you help?

Answer
The inertia switches have been hidden in the dash, under steering column, under the seat base, and against the firewall.  Firewall is the most common location.  Check power to the fuel pump harness.   If no power when cranking I'd certainly look there.

Best of luck finding it . . .  I wish there was a certain answer but those Defenders "evolved" through the life cycle
