Land Rover Repair: Boot and drivers side glass and left side glass not opening., freelander land rover, cable problem

Dear experts.
I have a Freelander,Land rover,honestly,everything in the car is still working well,because i always check the water and oil level regulary.but please help me out,my boot and two glass are not opening,and this is my biggest problem.ihave taken it to road side workshop,it seems they cannot help.please i need your help.

Hi Charles,

the tailgate window and door windows often fail to operate, a common problem with most LR's (Freelander, Discovery even Range Rover).  The taildoor problem could be a cable problem or perhaps an electrical fault within the harness (common problems).

For the Freelander, the problem could be within either the motors or control units.  Try the following website www.discoweb.org and go to the Freelander bulletin board.  There you will find many fellow Freelander owners from all over the world.  Your problme is not unique.  You will find someone who has the same Freelander model as you AND will have exact steps you can take to test and correct the glass problems you are having.
