Land Rover Repair: no heat, blowers, range rover

Question
I have a 1998 range rover 4.6. i just changed my heating core. but i still have no heat coming out. I have the heat on hi and it blows cold air. Also i can hear the blower on the driver side but don,t hear it on the passenger side. does that mean it is out. also when i touch the heating core i can feel that it is warm on the bottom metal line but the top line is cold. is the core working. Are both suppose to be hot

Answer
Both hoses in and out of the core should be hot.  You may have air in the system.  We use a vacuum filling system here at Robison Service to avoid that problem.  As to the blowers . . . if you remove the cabin filters (covers are against the firewall under the hood) you can look in and see both blowers to see if they are running.

Blower failure is common.
