Land Rover Repair: Discovery Condensation, land rover discovery, drain holes

Question
John,

I have a 2001 Land Rover Discovery and I have a slight condensation leak via the passenger side floor board.  Expert JohnMc suggested the drain plug, but I am not quite sure where to look for it? Can I get to it from the underneath the passenger side or driver's side? Are there multiple drain plugs - If you could walk me through the whole process that would be great. Thanks

Answer
The drains for the air conditioner are two tubes that drop down on either side of the transmission, under the vehicle.  Crawl under and find them, and make sure they are clear by running a piece of wire up them, perhaps 18 inches.

Clogged AC drains are the most common cause of water on the floor.

Next, open your sunroof and find the drain holes in the corners.  Use a 6-8 foot piece of wire to make sure they are clear too.  They will also clog with pollen
