Land Rover Repair: 1999 Range Rover 4.0, land rover experience, maf sensor

Question
I just got back from the mechanic to have my o2 Sensor replaced.   They then told me that P0102 (MAF) and P0116 (Engine Coolant) needed to be replaced.

My truck has started stalling on me when I come to a stop at times.  Could the replacing of these sensors stop this problem?

Answer
It's possible but your question makes it sound like the mechanic is just guessing. You don't read codes and say (I have code x, replace part y)  Codes point to tests, which identify failed parts. Maybe you need a MAF sensor; maybe you have  a vacuum leak.  I would urge you to seek a repair person with substantial Land Rover experience and good diagnostic skill.  How do I know you need that?  If you had such a person you would not be writing me here because he would be explain the issues to you and solve the problem.  I'm sorry I can't tell you who to go to . . . experts are scarce.  People send Rovers to Robison Service from all over the east as a result.
