Land Rover Repair: LRD 3 Hand Brake adjustment, spare wheel, handbrake

Hi John, I am in need of adjusting my handbrake. I know that the main acuating unit is up behind the spare wheel. Do you have to remove the cover of this unit to adjust or is it at the other end near the wheel.

There are adjusters at the wheels but you need the Land Rover test system to release and then reset the brake because it's actuated via the computer systems.  Be really careful adjusting it without the computer because I've seen several burnt brakes and rear discs from that
