Land Rover Repair: 2006 Range Rover, door locks, electronic sensor

randomly my car loses power steering and the back door locks will not open at all.  No matter if I use the key to unlock the vehicle or the electronic sensor on the key.  Any Idea why?  Also, when I use a different key to drive the vehicle the settings in the car change, ie; time settings from 12 hrs to 24hrs

I don't know what to say about the first issues without seeing the vehicle.  The different key issue is simply the personalization.  You can program the vehicle to remember different settings for different drivers and that's what you experience when you swithc keys.  Many high end cars have that feature
