Land Rover Repair: repair manual, land rover lr3, workshop manuals

Question
We are a married couple in Atlanta, ga. We have the 2005 land rover LR3.  It seems like everything is going wrong with the truck now.  We can't afford to take it back to the dealership because we only have one working now.  Can you tell me where I can buy a repair manual for it? The wheel sensor has went bad and i'm not sure how to change it.  Can you help with what it look like and where to buy one?

Thanks

Bobby

Answer
2005 workshop manuals are online, or electronic.  You can subscribe at www.landrovertechinfo.com  The older Rovers have print manuals but they went electronic for all the newer vehicles because they can be updated centrally.

Instructions to change a wheel sensor can be found on the website but I urge caution before embarking on a job like that.  If you don't know enough to take it on and you get stuck halfway it will end up costing more than if you just let the dealer do it in the first place.

Good luck with your repairs.  Check out my car blog at http://robisonservice.blogspot.com and find me on Facebook at JohnElderRobison and RobisonService.
