Tips on Buying Cars: can Mitsubishi certify Toyota vehicles, toyota vehicles, red flags

Question
Hello Ray,
I'm on the market for a pre-owned Toyota. It seems other then Toyota dealers would want to get rid off of their Toyota trades, so the cheaper price. My question, can Mitsubishi or other makes certify Toyota vehicles? And should i go for certified if in many cases it doesn't mean a thing? for example dealers don't tell about accidents and some repairs are not covered?
Thank you lot,
Alen

Answer
Hi Allen

You did not state your zip/postal code, I therefore have no idea what state or province I am dealing with, but will tell you in my area a vehicle cannot be plated without having been certified, and yes any dealership or licensed shop can certify any make or model. When you buy a Certified vehicle from a Franchise dealership in most cases a warranty will be included

Buying any vehicle is a process of steps, for starters being certified or not make deal subject to an independent inspection, it will cost you a few bucks but will lessen the fear ending up with issues.

As for your mention of a cheaper price buying a Toyota from a location other than a franchise Toyota dealer, yes in many cases that's true, if you care to get a better understanding how that works link to this web page  http://www.usedcartips.org/RENTACAR.html  on my website and scroll down to " Where To Find The Best Quality Used Vehicle's 1 To 6 Model Years "

Yes your right some dealers will not disclose about an accident repair, but then again if you have done some study how to buy a car you will have asked to view a history report on the vehicle in question.

I will be happy to help you along, if interested let's do this, study my website and feel free to ask further questions, if you have a specific vehicle in mind send me a link and I will check for red flags to ensure you getting value for your bucks.
