Land Rover Repair: Land Rover Air Conditioner, land rover discovery, measure voltage

Question
I have a 2000 Land Rover Discovery and the a/c blower has stopped working.  I removed the blower motor and checked the voltage at the connector which was 11.25V...therefore, the blower motor must be dead.  I replaced the blower motor and it still does not work...any advice?

Answer
There are two wires feeding the blower.  One side is power, the other is ground.  Measure voltage across the two wires and I think you will find the answer.  From there you will have to follow the wires to their sources until you find the open circuit.

In any case the blower was probably not a waste of money.  When the blowers get old, the draw too much current, and that's what leads to wiring and component meltdowns like you face now.
