Land Rover Repair: BeCM, autologic, remotes

my becm went bad and i bought another one it came out another vehicle my car is a 1996 Range Rover 4.6 HSE and the other one was 1998 Range Rover 4.6 HSE so i put the new one in and now mine will not start

Answer
You will need to tow the vehicle to a shop with a T4 or Autologic system and have them synchonize the BECM and engine control units.  Having done that you should be aware that you'll need the pushbutton remotes that match the old BECM if you want remote entry.  You cannot program your remotes to this new BECM
