Land Rover Repair: Not Cruisin, air filter assembly, vacuum hoses

Question
Have a 98 Disco that the cruise control is not working.  Switch seems to be fine guessing its a vac hose leak?  Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot and correct?  Where is the line located for me to inspect? Any other things I should be checking or reasons for the problem?  Thanks in advance welcome back!

Answer
The vacuum hoses go from the cruise control actuator down to the brake switch and across to the cruise control vacuum pump.  The vacuum pump is beneath the air filter assembly.  The actuator is located on the drivers side of the engine at the rear, adjacent to the brake booster.  Check for perished hoses and/or a perished cruise control diaphragm.  You could also check that the brake switch is operational.
