Land Rover Repair: 2000 Disco Running Rough at Medium Speed, o2 sensors, hicups

Question
Hi John, I guess my subject line says it all.  My disco has about 140k miles
on it and is fairly well maintained.  It will start and idle fine but when I reach
speeds of around 25 to 40 mph. I notice a slight hicup in the movement
around every couple of seconds and my SES light begins to blink. After I go
faster than 40 or so, the hicups lessen and the SES light returns to solid.  I
had the codes pulled at the local advance auto and they pointed to the o2
sensors. I don't know if the symptoms and the codes are related or not.

Answer
If the service engine light blinks, it's going to set codes that will be meaningful to a qualified technician.  The vague statement about the o2 sensors is probably nothing more than a wild guess by a kid in a parts store.
