Land Rover Repair: Fault Messages, cooler pipe, messages windows

Question
Have a 1996 4.0 with automatic box RR.  Because it sat dormant over the winter months, the battery went flat. I removed the battery, charged it and it started first turn of the key. Unfortunately, now when you start it up it throws up error messages, windows not set and gearbox over heating.
I have read threads that tell how to reset the windows.....what about the auto gearbox message? Thanks in advance.

Answer
Here's how to set the windows and sunroof:

Run the window all the way down.  Release and then press and hold the down button 3 seconds.  Run all the way up.  Release and hold a few seconds.  You'll hear a "beep" and you'll see a "window set" message if it worked.  Repeat for each window and the sunroof.

If you get a gearbox overheat lamp with a cold engine, then the switch has failed.  That's actually not uncommon.  The switch is in the transmission cooler pipe leading up to the radiator area.
