Land Rover Repair: Discovery suspension, discovery td5, air leaks

I have a series 2 Discovery td5 just latley every now and again the suspension will drop on the o/s/r but only when the vehicle is at rest you can start the engine and it will rise again and be ok for weeks i can,t hear any air leaks . can anyone shed any light on it before i delve deeper .Many thanks if you can help

The sagging is almost certainly the result of dry rot in the air bag on that corner. The thing is, you can buy coil springs for both sides for the price of one air bag, and the other will eventually fail too.  So conversion is a common alternative to repair.

In the United States companies like Atlantic British sell conversion kits.  I don't know who sells the kits in your country but I suggest you check that alternative as air suspension repair can become quite costly.
