Land Rover Repair: Sparkplug wire change, landrover discovery, discovery 2

How hard is it to change the sparkplug wires in my Landrover discovery 2 body, 1999? I bought aftermarket duralast ones. My sparkplugs are all changed but my car is still idling and riding rough. So the culprit must be the wires, at least I hope. Can you send me some directions or the best way to approach the task. Thanks. Dan

You have to remove the top part of the intake to change the wires.  It's a 3-hour job for a skilled Land Rover tech.  There are no special tricks; it's just a lengthy job.  No special tools are needed.
