I just bought the above vehicle. It had to be jump-started at first, because it had not been driven in awhile. It starts every time on the first try now, so I don't think it needs a new battery. However, the radio will not accept the code. I have the code-card with the code number, and I tried waiting an hour with the vehicle running and the radio on. Tried typing in the code, and then "CODE" started flashing but nothing else happened. Was there something else I was supposed to do? Help!

Sometimes the radios get swapped, and the new code doesn't get recorded.  Pull the radio, get the serial number off the chassis, and ask your local dealer to look the code up by radio serial number.  Try that code.  If they give you the same code you already had, that means the radio has failed.
