Land Rover Repair: disco brakes, oem pads, master cylinder

my 98 disco brakes poorly.the pedal gains firmness but the vehicle takes its time to come to a stop. backing down my driveway is worse yet.the brakes were inspected and there is atleast 50 percent left.flushed fluid but no improvement.don't like throwing parts at it. booster vs master cylinder?

The rotors are very marginal on those 90s Disco models.  If the rotors are any less than perfect you will not be able to lock the wheels.

As to booster or master . . . You need to find someone who's a LR expert and have him drive it and render an opinion.  Anything from be would just be a guess.

And if I were to guess, the first place I'd look is the rotors and I'd fit some OEM pads
