Land Rover Repair: removing rotor from driveshaft 2000 Disco, rotor hub, abs sensor

Question
I'm having problems removing the rotor off the driveshaft . I'm trying to replace the ABS sensor . I've removed the screw and driveshaft bolt . The hub assimbly and rotor are one piece . I've removed the rotor (hub) off the driveshaft about 1/8'' . Why hard to remove rotor ?

Answer
rust.  you have to beat/bang/pry.  a large puller will help, 2 pry bars on either side will work, pry against the hub.  The stub-axle bolt doesn't need to come off, you'll need to re-set the torque on that, the play induced by removing the nut may be working against you.
