Land Rover Repair: 1996 Disco I Rear Bumper Lights, double filament, bumper lamp

Question
Not positive you can help me with this, but i thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Recently i realized both of my brake lights on my bumper are not working (Turn signals still work though). I took out the bulbs and could see the bulbs element was broken and on them have the markings GE261912VR5W[E1]2DUHUNGARY 178. In addition, when i turned the bulb  holder out of its place a little water came out of the right bumper lamp. I have been reading around and heard the problem usually lie in the connector or the bulbs but my question is what type of bulb should i be looking for and where could i go to purchase the bulb holder and how would i go about putting them on? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Answer
Bulb holders are readily available both from the dealer and a number of independent Land Rover parts suppliers and they are realtively cheap.  The bulbs are available at every automotive parts store.  There is nothing special about them.  It is either an 1154 or 1156 (generic bulb #s), depending onw whether it is a single or double filament.  Just bring the old bulb with you to the parts supply store.
