Land Rover Repair: clock bulb, lock switch, manual states

Question
I have a Discovery SII 1999 and the repair manual states "carefully remove fascia" in order to get the clock assembly out.  Less than useful, is it possible for me to do this or do I need to take it to the dealer to swap out one bulb?  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Craig,

I don't have the same manual as you.  Mine simply states the following:

Clock
$%88.15.07

Remove
1. Carefully remove clock assembly FROM fascia.
2. Disconnect multiplugs from clock and door locking switches.
3. Remove door locking switch from clock assembly and remove clock assembly.

Refit
1. Fit door lock switch to clock assembly and connect multiplugs.
2. Position and push to secure clock assembly to fascia.

You just carefully (very carefully) pry out the clock from the fascia.  Maybe use a fine 'jewellers' screwdriver on either side of the clock.

Best of luck,
