Land Rover Repair: 2001 RANGE ROVER 4.6 HSE, land rover specialists, pulley

Hi , recently i had gizzling noise coming out of the pulley and my land rover specialists replaced new pulley set and tension pulley but after the job is done i noticed a ticking noise coming out from somewhere around the pulley and all the pulley 's are new, what do you think the problem?

Hi Alex,

the problem could be with the pulley installed.  Perhaps it is not properly seated or it may be too loose.  Have this checked by the installers and corrected ASAP.  If it is a pulley problem AND left unchecked, you could find yourself loosing the belt and overheating the engine, or worse.
