Land Rover Repair: floor wet by passenger door (front), vacuum line, brake switch

Question
Hi John:
I have a 2000 discovery.
I can't get my cruise control to work. I do exactly what the manual says, but it doesn't work.
Additionally, the front floor by the passenger door gets wet.  Any ideas?

Answer
I doubt if the water leak has anything to do with the cruise.  The water could be an a/c evaporator drain, a windshield leak, a leak in the body . . .many things

The cruise may have a split vacuum line, a bad brake switch, or some other issue.  It's a situation where you have to get the manual and test it step by step
