Hi John, my speedometer is acting strange.  At any speed it will jump and sometimes it won't even work, it will fluctuate all over the place.

Hi Larry,

its not rare to have the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) fail.  There are water ingress problems that can also lead to electrical shorts and possibly the dash components could fail (your speedometer being one of them).  There is a  grounding terminal in the passengery footwell that has been known to short out (if you have the water leaks in the footwell).
